This version is the free cut-down version of the full game Discover Meteondor.
The world of Meteondor is unique. Strange and beautiful lands are located inside the great white shell surrounded by the eight bright stars of Meteondor. The small lands are special because their location inside the white shell always changes. Two lands that are next to each other one day may be placed far away the next. Each time you visit Meteondor your path is different and you never know where you will be next.
Meteondor is a game that requires you to remember where you have been, locate objects and drop them in the right places to reveal new things. Ultimately the goal is to collect the pieces of Telenia's present and to take them to the Cave of Mends so that they can be repaired in time for her party.
The game play proceeds by the presentation of a series of static screens. The directions that you can move in are shown by green arrows, by pressing an arrow you move to the next location. Each location has a scroll of information to read that builds into the story of Meteondor. At some locations a treasure chest will appear. This contains objects that you can pick up and then drop at other locations to reveal the hidden things.
The full game has a number of levels of play - from easy to fiendish - but the free version has only the easy level. Each time you start a new game, a map is created that is random but always solveable. The game is designed for children aged between 5 (if playing the easy level with an adult who can help read the descriptions) and teenagers who can enjoy the challenge of the larger maps. In fact, the game is designed for any explorer out there that enjoys stories, fantasy and a memory challenge!
The game contains sound but this can be turned off using the menu options. No in-game data traffic is required.
So, go and explore and see if you can remember where you have seen objects, the location that the object corresponds with and see if you can keep track of the map!
